About The Position

The Oncology Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics (CPP) Scientist Intern is a full-time summer internship lasting approximately three months, from May 10 to August 13, 2027. The intern joins a global, matrixed team supporting research and development of oncology therapeutics, including clinical strategies and the implementation of Phase I–III clinical oncology programs. A mentor will be assigned, and the intern will contribute to projects in a function-specific area and interact with colleagues across disciplines. The role is based in Spring House, Pennsylvania. For interns who are not lab-based, the work arrangement is hybrid: three days on site and two days remote each week. The intern supports development of new molecular entities using clinical pharmacology and model-based methods. Work may include contributing to Cross-Functional Trial Team activities and collaborating with project teams across functional disciplines. Interns present their work to project teams and the Oncology Senior Leadership Team, and prepare and present their primary research project as a poster or abstract at the annual global summer intern research symposium. The program provides undergraduate and graduate students with experience in pharmaceutical research and development and exposure to drug-development science and processes, disease states, diagnosis, treatments, and mechanisms of action. Training includes Standard Operating Procedures, function-specific topics, and related systems and tools.
