Oncology Clinic Nursing Supervisor
About The Position
The Oncology Clinic Nursing Supervisor oversees a team of oncology nurses and infusion center staff, aligning departmental objectives with the hospital’s mission while elevating patient care and optimizing department performance. Reporting directly to the Manager of Oncology Services, the supervisor provides guidance and support to the team and collaborates with oncologists, multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and administrative staff to implement care standards and improve the patient treatment experience. This is a working supervisor position that includes providing oncology infusion nursing care and translating team insights into actionable steps to improve staff and patient experiences.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Registered Nurse license in Washington.
- Basic Life Support (CPR) through the American Heart Association.
- One of the following education and experience combinations: BSN and 1–3 years of experience in an Oncology or Infusion Nursing setting; BSN and 4–6 years of experience in an Acute Care Nursing setting; or ADN and 4–6 years of experience in an Oncology, Infusion, or Acute Care Nursing setting.
- Strong clinical expertise and leadership skills, with collaboration and communication abilities to guide the team and work effectively in a multidisciplinary care environment.
