About The Position

The Outpatient Medical Oncology Supervisor oversees the day-to-day operations of the Medical Oncology Department, including quality, safety, operations, staff, budgets, and experience. The supervisor ensures smooth patient flow by coordinating department schedules and working closely with the supervisors of Radiation Oncology and Cancer Programs & Clinical Research. The role requires the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and adapt to constantly changing situations. The supervisor must be able to work with a variety of people, handle stressful situations, and manage conflict. The position also performs assigned duties and follows applicable licensing-board or agency requirements, regulations, procedures, and Benefis Health System policies.

Requirements

Current state registered nurse license required.
Ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, maintain accuracy, and handle constantly changing situations.
Ability to work with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Nice To Haves

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing preferred.
Current BLS certification preferred.
At least two years of management or supervisor experience preferred.

Responsibilities
