About The Position

The Onboarding Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and compliant new hire experience. This entry-level, in-office position exists to make sure all new hire paperwork is completed accurately, received on time, and properly uploaded. This role requires strong attention to detail, consistent follow-up, and clear communication with new hires and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stay focused, organized, and on task in a fast-paced environment
  • Clear, professional, and timely communication skills
  • Understanding of or ability to learn I-9 compliance requirements
  • Dependable and able to manage multiple onboarding timelines at once

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in onboarding, HR support, or customer service
  • Familiarity with document management or HR systems

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with new hires to ensure all onboarding paperwork is completed accurately and on time
  • Collect, verify, and upload all required new hire documents
  • Verify I-9 documentation in compliance with HR and federal requirements
  • Create and manage new hire accounts across required systems
  • Track onboarding progress and follow up on missing or incomplete items
  • Maintain organized and accurate digital employee records
  • Partner with the onboarding and training team to ensure new hires are fully set up prior to their start date
