About The Position

This position supports Human Resources and Recruiting by completing background checks and providing support during the new hire process. The successful candidate will be able to multi-task, remain organized and have experience in a fast-paced work environment. Airline or airport knowledge is a plus. This position reports to the Manager, Human Resources.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced office environment
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and meet specified deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
  • Advanced ability with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent writing and speaking skills
  • Proof of high school or GED completion
  • Minimum 18 years of age

Nice To Haves

  • Airline or airport knowledge is a plus
  • Skilled in computer knowledge and usage
  • Knowledge of basic airport procedures and fundamental job requirements for airlines
  • Current employee with a minimum six months of service

Responsibilities

  • Support Human Resources and Recruiting
  • Review background qualifications to ensure compliance with TSA and DOT requirements
  • Determine which background checks are required for new hire employees
  • Work with various vendors to complete background checks for new hire employees
  • Ensure accurate data entry of information into the Workday HRIS System
  • Provide support to managers in relation to the employee new hire procedure in the Workday HRIS system
  • Perform audits of various databases including I-9 records and criminal history records checks
