About The Position

W.A. Smith Financial Group located in Sheffield Village, OH is seeking a high-level Onboarding Specialist to deliver a white-glove client onboarding experience.
This is not simply paperwork processing. This role owns the most critical stage of client trust: the implementation phase.
You will manage documentation, transfers, timelines, communication, and internal coordination — while providing elite follow-up and follow-through.
Your performance directly impacts client retention, advisor confidence, referrals, and long-term loyalty.

Requirements

• Exceptional client service and relationship-building skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-starter mindset
• CRM experience preferred (Salesforce a plus)

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact during onboarding
• Deliver proactive, white-glove communication
• Collect, review, and process required documentation
• Minimize errors and prevent delays
• Track account transfers through completion
• Maintain disciplined Salesforce documentation
• Coordinate with advisors and internal teams
• Ensure no tasks fall through the cracks
