OnBase Technical Lead
About The Position
GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an OnBase Technical Lead to lead the development and enhancement of OnBase applications, with a strong focus on OnBase WorkView and Workflow. This position serves as the principal technical authority and functional architect, providing hands-on technical leadership, solution design, application development, and strategic direction throughout the application development lifecycle. As an OnBase Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the development group in designing, coding, implementing, and optimizing OnBase applications and solutions. This role requires deep expertise in OnBase WorkView and Workflow, along with strong knowledge of OnBase configuration and administration. The Technical Lead will serve as a functional architect, translating complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions while guiding the team through requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of OnBase WorkView and Workflow functionality.
- Expert knowledge of OnBase systems configuration and administration.
- Demonstrated experience developing and enhancing existing OnBase applications.
- Strong understanding of the full application development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and production support.
- Strong ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs.
- Understanding of the Unity Client and its use within OnBase applications.
- 4-year college degree or equivalent technical study.
- OnBase WorkView certification.
- OnBase Workflow certification.
- Experience providing technical leadership or functional architecture for OnBase application development teams.
- Experience developing and implementing interface, process, and workflow strategies within OnBase environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development group in designing, coding, and implementing enhancements to existing OnBase applications.
- Serve as the functional architect for OnBase solutions, translating business requirements into technical designs and overseeing their execution.
- Architect and optimize OnBase WorkView applications and Workflow processes to address complex business requirements.
- Configure, develop, and maintain OnBase WorkView applications and Workflow processes to ensure robust, scalable, and efficient operations.
- Guide the team through all phases of application development, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, and debugging.
- Direct and participate in application design, development, coding, unit testing, and debugging of OnBase solutions.
- Plan and deploy interface, process, and workflow strategies for OnBase applications.
- Provide strategic technical direction, review solution designs, recommend improvements, and ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and interpret user requirements and incorporate them into detailed design specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to OnBase applications.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the testing process to ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify, track, and resolve issues, risks, and action items affecting the development team.
- Plan and estimate task timelines while ensuring challenges are addressed and work is completed in a timely manner.
- Communicate accurate and useful project and application status updates to team members and management.
- Provide ongoing training on OnBase tools and techniques to strengthen staff support capabilities.
