About The Position

The On-Site Supervisor is responsible for managing a client's production site, ensuring smooth operations and acting as the primary point of contact for both associates and the client. This role involves overseeing daily activities, managing attendance, addressing issues proactively, and maintaining strong relationships with client leadership and the workforce. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, takes ownership of their site, and can handle challenges calmly and decisively.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1–2 years in staffing, recruiting, HR, or administrative support
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Comfortable running in-person and phone interviews with sharp attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft and/or Google Suite
  • Prior ATS experience is a plus
  • Ability to build trust fast and maintain it through consistency
  • Clear and direct communication skills
  • Ability to stay organized under pressure
  • Ability to respond calmly and decisively to changing situations
  • Takes real ownership of the site

  • Staffing agency experience is a bonus

Responsibilities

  • Open the site and set the tone before the first shift.
  • Run attendance and manage call-offs, filling gaps as needed.
  • Be visible on the floor, checking in with associates and keeping client supervisors informed.
  • Approve timecards and ensure accuracy.
  • Document incidents correctly.
  • Handle difficult conversations calmly and professionally.
  • Anticipate and solve staffing shortages.
  • Hold associates accountable while remaining fair.
  • Manage site numbers, including attendance, retention, and productivity.
  • Act as the primary point of contact and build trust with client leadership and associates.
  • Coordinate onboarding, background checks, and new hire paperwork.
  • Lead first-day logistics for new associates.
  • Support payroll by maintaining clean and accurate timecards.
  • Check in with clients and associates to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Partner with recruiters and Branch Manager on workforce planning.
  • Ensure that issues escalated to the branch are genuinely necessary.
