Requirements

  • Experience in a customer service role preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to proactively communicate and to resolve issues with the highest sense of urgency.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license is required for this role to travel between branch and client location.
  • Must have access to dependable transportation to ensure punctual arrival at work, travel between job sites or clients if needed, and the ability to meet all scheduled work hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the overall success and improvement of the client's On-Site program.
  • Exercises independent judgment and discretion in effectively guiding the activities of all associates and to ensure job performance goals are met or exceeded.
  • Coaches, counsels, disciplines, and terminates associates when appropriate.
  • Creates a strong bond with all temporary associates, reinforcing the employer-associate relationship and their commitment to the client.
  • Consistently supports and promotes the company mission, five key beliefs, philosophies, and provides Superior Customer Service in all aspects of the job.
  • Develops a strong working relationship with the client's management team.
  • Builds effective relationships with all stakeholders to anticipate future needs and recruit temporary resources to meet those needs.
  • Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all client personnel, temporary associates, and company personnel.
  • Regularly meets with the client's supervisory personnel to confirm the client's satisfaction with the associate performance and address concerns.
  • Maintains intimate knowledge of client's facilities, positions, and policies.
  • Collaborates with the branch team, regional, and corporate personnel to meet client performance expectations.
  • Assists with identifying and assigning temporary associates who meet the client's standards regarding job skills and level of ability.
  • Maintains regular contact with the current pool of temporary associates to clarify their availability for future assignments.
  • Conducts new hire orientations to ensure all associates are aware of applicable company policies and safety issues before starting.
  • Follows the best practices for engaging newly hired associates.
  • Responds to client and temporary associate concerns promptly; recommends and/or implements steps to resolve problems, prevent their reoccurrence, and documents according to standard operating procedures.
  • Walks the floor throughout the day, engaging with supervisors and associates, observing interactions, addressing safety issues, and assessing production demands.
  • Completes injury reports and assists injured workers in getting medical treatment following company policy and procedures.
  • Monitors turnover regularly and develops strategies to reduce turnover.
