On-Site Leasing Manager (Approved Housing Manager)

Requirements
- 5+ years of property management experience
- Experience managing to budgeted P&L expectations
- Proficiency with Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and property management software (Entrata preferred)
- Must live on-site in the provided apartment and maintain a presence respected by students as an advocate for Student Living principles
- Adherence to "Manager Code of Conduct" including the university dress and grooming standards.

- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in student housing or multifamily property management
Responsibilities
- Oversee all leasing activities, including lease generation and processing move-ins, move-outs, and transfers
- Monitor the Entrata dashboard and Tenant Information System (TIS) daily, verifying student eligibility and maintaining accurate resident records
- Collect rent, manage delinquency, and oversee security deposits and contract administration
- Ensure the community follows the BYU-Idaho Approved Housing Guidebook, Uniform Physical Condition Standards, and all applicable fair housing and Idaho housing laws
- Conduct regular property inspections and walks, and prepare the community for annual inspections with the Housing & Student Living Office
- Address resident and guarantor concerns, service animal and pet requests, and follow up on resident work orders
- Submit weekly and monthly reports to the Portfolio Manager, including budget performance and KPI updates
- Plan and execute resident activities and community events, and oversee marketing efforts and online review responses
- Attend BYU-Idaho Housing & Student Living Manager Forums and complete required training.
