About The Position
Red Oak Management Co. Inc. is seeking a full-time Affordable Housing Site Manager to oversee a community in Hart, MI, serving the Shelby, MI area. This role offers the opportunity to combine exceptional resident service, property operations, and community stewardship in a position where your work directly contributes to creating positive housing experiences for residents. This is a full-time position based in Hart, MI, serving the Shelby, MI area. As our Affordable Housing Site Manager, you'll be at the heart of the community, helping residents and applicants navigate the application and recertification process with confidence and care. Throughout your day, you'll partner with maintenance staff to ensure work orders and unit turns are completed efficiently, walk the property to maintain a clean and welcoming appearance, and coordinate with vendors to keep operations running smoothly. Requirements
- Understanding of fair housing standards
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn and grow
- Strong customer service skills
- Prior experience in property management
- Ability to pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Fair Housing Certification
- Experience with HUD/Section 8 properties
- Experience with Rural Development properties
