About The Position

Technical specialist and regular customer support contact to diagnose and complete less complex repairs to Cummins products at a single customer’s site. We are looking for a talented On-Site Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Mesa, AZ). We offer sign-on bonus, relocation, competitive pay and benefits! Will make an impact in the following ways: Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop. Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools. Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles. Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies. Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products. Maintain own tools.

Requirements

• A current valid license is required for this role
• Must be 18 years old with 2 years driving experience
• This role requires a 5-year motor vehicle report, free from major violations
• This position is subject to Federal Transit Administration random and pre-employment drug testing requirements. This roll will be subject to on-going random drug and alcohol testing.

Nice To Haves

• CNG and transit bus knowledge preferred

Responsibilities

• Completes complex internal engine repairs
• Performs engine overhauls unassisted
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
