About The Position

Join our team at Dacus Towing and Recovery, where we pride ourselves on delivering top-tier roadside assistance and towing services. We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to manage overnight and weekend calls remotely, ensuring our customers receive professional service. This position is primarily remote but does require in-person, in-office training and meetings.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must have a reliable internet connection, and a suitable workspace free from distractions.
  • Ability to download, install, and use essential dispatching and payment processing apps on personal devices (PC and/or smartphone).
  • Must be willing to work on-call shifts several nights per week and 1-2 weekends per month, including rotating holidays.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to remain calm and composed during emergency situations.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and dispatching to ensure correct information is relayed to drivers and customers.
  • Position is primarily remote; however, applicant must be able to attend in-person, in-office training and meetings at our McPherson KS office.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and courteously to incoming calls for roadside assistance and towing services, ensuring that each customer feels heard and supported.
  • Provide accurate and competitive pricing quotes for all service requests. Clearly explain pricing details to customers, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction.
  • Efficiently enter call information into our towing software system, dispatch drivers to service locations, and monitor the status of each dispatch. Ensure all information is accurate to avoid delays or errors in service.
  • Collect payments over the phone when necessary, using our secure payment processing system. Ensure all transactions are processed smoothly and accurately.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times, even during high-stress situations. Strive to exceed customer expectations with every interaction.
