About The Position
This is an on-call position that provides support on an as-needed basis. The specific role involves assisting with the processing of recyclable materials from campus departments and the public recycling drop-off. The goal is to keep materials out of landfills and promote sustainability within the MSU community.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a warehouse-like setting where the temperature may fluctuate.
- Ability to go up and down stairs, stand, reach and occasionally lift 15-25lbs.
- Organized, dependable, self-reliant and hard-working.
- Ability to communicate and work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to identify things that can be re-used and diverted to Surplus/Upcycle.
- Ability to pass a university criminal background check.
- A valid Michigan operator's license.
