PT Weekday Evening On Call Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
The On Call Registered Nurse responds to on-call services and upholds nursing service standards of care throughout the organization. The role may involve visits to patients at home or in facilities, including scheduled and unplanned visits, follow-up visits for new admissions as needed, admission visits for medically eligible patients entering Hosparus care, and facility-to-home admissions. The nurse demonstrates excellence in nursing practice and supports the organization’s needs in providing nursing care and services to all Hosparus Health patients. The position is responsible for compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards. The service area is Louisville and surrounding communities. The schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM, with backup on-call coverage as needed.
Requirements
- Current RN licensure in Kentucky and/or Indiana as required by the designated position, or the ability to obtain the required license upon hire.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of palliative care.
- A valid driver’s license in accordance with policy.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- CPHN encouraged.
- Previous home health or hospice experience preferred.
- Experience using technology-based tools, including electronic medical records, strongly preferred.
