Royal Communication Consultants, based in New York City, is looking for candidates for part-time (as needed) contingent work to assist with desktop support/network trouble tickets within the Milwaukee area. This work will be conducted mainly during normal business hours, but may also include nights and weekends. These trouble tickets include vendor escorts, desktop installs, upgrades, decoms, VPN, break fix, and help desk/tech bar support. Strong customer service skills are essential. As mentioned, this work is on an as needed basis and could reach up to 20+ hours a week. We are open to junior candidates or experienced candidates with Desktop Support Level 1 or 2. Degree and industry certifications are always a plus. For those interested in basic networking, we also work with cabling, data centers, and Layer 1 networking or de-commissioning networks (e.g., rack dismantling, patch panels, switches, routers, etc.).
