On Call Field Techs - San Antonio TX
About The Position
Royal Communications Consultants is seeking candidates for part-time (as needed) contingent work to assist with desktop support/network trouble tickets within the San Antonio area. This work will be conducted mainly during normal business hours, but may also include nights and weekends. The trouble tickets include vendor escorts, desktop installs/upgrades, VPN, break fix, and help desk/tech bar support. This role requires strong customer service skills. The work is on an as-needed basis and could reach up to 20+ hours a week. We are open to candidates who are Level 1 or 2 Level Desktop Support techs with relevant technical education, certifications, or previous experience. For those interested in basic networking, we also work with cabling, data centers, and layer 1 networking or decommissioning networks, such as rack dismantling, patch panels, switches, routers, etc.
