About The Position

Lead an OLLI course for a given quarter. This role involves preparing all course content and materials in advance, determining the method and delivery of the course, and being solely responsible for the content taught. The instructor will provide relevant instructional media and equipment, ensure students have consistent breaks for courses over 2 hours, manage class time to cover all syllabus content, and work with OLLI hosts for classroom protocol announcements.

Requirements

• Demonstrated knowledge of class topic
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially with older adults
• Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement
• Ability to work with a hearing-impaired demographic
• Relevant professional experience
• Record of successful teaching engagements
• Must independently provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States

Responsibilities
