About The Position
Good Shepherd Assisted Living & Memory Care is seeking an On-Call Home Health Aide to provide resident-centered care at its Sauk Rapids and Becker campuses. The role is suited to a reliable, experienced Nursing Assistant who is comfortable in a fast-paced, varied work environment. Extra shifts may be available for those seeking additional hours. On-call coverage is scheduled Monday through Thursday, 10:30 PM–6:30 AM, every third week. The position is listed as part-time and is based at Shepherd of Grace in Becker, Minnesota; coverage includes both the Sauk Rapids and Becker campuses.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be active on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry or provide a certificate of completion from an approved 75-hour Nursing Assistant course.
Nice To Haves
- At least 6 months of caregiving experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful leisure and recreational activities.
- Assist residents with ambulation, transfers, and exercise.
- Assist with medication administration under the direction and supervision of the RN.
- Accurately document medication administration in the Electronic Medication Administration Record (EMAR).
- Promptly report changes in resident condition to the RN.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks.
