About The Position
Concordia Language Villages is seeking part-time seasonal employees to support campus operations during the summer months. Opportunities are available across multiple work areas, including Grounds & Landscaping, Housekeeping / Custodial Support, and General Maintenance Support. Assignments will be based on the applicant’s interests, experience, and skillset. These roles are ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Dependable, safety-minded, and detail-oriented
- Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and working outdoors
Responsibilities
- Mowing, trimming, and general landscape maintenance
- Planting and seasonal grounds cleanup
- Supporting campus event and summer project setup
- Cleaning and maintaining residence halls, offices, and common areas
- Assisting with summer turnover and room preparations
- Supporting event setups and post-event cleanup
- Assisting skilled trades staff with basic maintenance tasks
- Furniture moves, light repairs, and campus project support
- Performing routine inspections and minor equipment upkeep
