About The Position

At Sand Valley, every detail shapes the guest experience. This role is a key part of keeping the property clean, organized, and guest-ready from open to close. You will follow a set route to collect and dispose of trash and recycling from food outlets, clubhouses, guest buildings, drop-off zones, and parking areas. It is steady, hands-on work that keeps high traffic areas running smoothly behind the scenes. This seasonal position offers both full-time and part-time hours, with 6 or 12-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.

Reliable and comfortable working independently
Able to stay on task and follow a consistent routine
Willing to work outdoors in changing conditions
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving guidelines
Being on your feet for most of the shift across a large property
Working in a range of weather conditions
Lifting and moving up to 100 pounds regularly
Handling and emptying large waste containers that may exceed 200 pounds when full
Reaching and lifting above shoulder height when disposing of waste

Responsibilities

Follow an assigned route to collect and dispose of trash and recycling across the property
Service designated locations throughout the day to prevent overflow and maintain a clean environment
Monitor surrounding areas and remove debris as needed
Operate company vehicles safely and in line with resort standards
Communicate issues that impact your route, schedule, or the guest experience
Report maintenance needs
Keep vehicles and equipment clean and ready for use
Support day-to-day Facilities tasks as needed
