About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring an on-call Fleet Driver/Transporter to help keep its vehicle fleet moving and available to customers. The role involves driving rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots according to business needs. Drivers transport vehicles safely and efficiently, follow driving standards and safety procedures, and help support fleet availability and a smooth customer experience. This position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work on-call and be available for various shifts.
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work regularly on site; the position cannot be performed remotely.

Responsibilities

• Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on business needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to help position them for customer demand.
• Follow driving standards and safety procedures.
• Support fleet availability and daily operations.
