About The Position

Avis Budget Group is hiring an on-call Fleet Driver/Transporter to move rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots as business needs require. The role supports fleet availability by ensuring vehicles are positioned safely and efficiently where they are needed, contributing to customer demand and smooth daily operations. The driver follows driving standards and safety procedures and supports the overall customer experience. This position requires regular on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Flexibility to work on-call and be available for various shifts.
• Comfort driving a variety of vehicles in all weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles, sit for extended periods, get up and down from a seated position, and remain active throughout the shift.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to work on site; the position cannot be performed remotely.

• Drive rental vehicles between rental locations, maintenance facilities, and other designated lots based on business needs.
• Transport vehicles safely and efficiently to help ensure they are positioned to support customer demand and fleet availability.
• Follow driving standards and safety procedures.
• Support smooth daily operations and the overall customer experience.
