The On-call Digital Video Associate Producer supports the production of original video content across KQED’s Digital Video portfolio, including midform YouTube content, vertical video, social video, and other digital video projects distributed across KQED-owned and third-party platforms. This position provides hands-on experience across the full digital video production process, including producing, field production, cinematography, editing, post-production, media management, research, and digital distribution. The Associate Producer will work closely with producers, editors, directors, photographers, and other members of the Digital Video team to support productions from development and pre-production through production, post-production, delivery, and archiving. The ideal candidate is an emerging video professional with foundational experience in video production who is eager to expand their skills across multiple areas of digital video. The Associate Producer should be comfortable taking direction, learning new production tools and workflows, and taking on increasing responsibility as their skills develop. The On-call Digital Video Associate Producer will be assigned to projects based on production needs and may support productions ranging from a single day to several months.
