On-Call Delivery Driver
About The Position
The On-Call Delivery Driver plays a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to our customers in Scarborough. This position requires flexibility and responsiveness, as drivers will be called upon to deliver packages as needed, often on short notice. The primary goal is to maintain high customer satisfaction through reliable service and adherence to delivery schedules. Drivers will also be responsible for handling packages with care, ensuring they arrive in excellent condition. Ultimately, this role contributes significantly to the overall success of our transportation and warehousing operations.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Physical stamina and strength.
- Familiarity with technology, such as GPS systems.
