The On Call Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of patient visits, maintenance, and upkeep of scheduling records as well as accurate and timely communication of scheduling changes between office and field staff. This role involves assisting in coordinating services provided to Agency patients, controlling and monitoring schedule changes for field staff, and ensuring adequate after-hours coverage of patients and staffing. The coordinator also receives referrals, verifies insurance eligibility, patient information, and doctor details before staffing cases. They relay messages between field staff, office staff, and account executives, and perform other functions as directed by the Business Office Manager. Effective communication with clients, families, team members, and other healthcare professionals is crucial, as is demonstrating commitment and professional growth through in-service programs and competency maintenance.
