Requirements
- Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Religion, Counseling, or related field
- 2 years of pastoral experience for on call
- 4 years of Clinical Pastoral Education
- Eccelsiastical endorsement from the appropriate denomination
- Ordination
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospital experience
- Certification or certification eligible by pastoral care organization
Responsibilities
- Provides spiritual and pastoral support to patients, family members, visitors, and employees and provides supportive services to the community.
- Provides spiritual care and counseling to patients, families and visitors, hospital staff and community.
- Provides appropriate assistance to patients, family members.
- Conducts worship services.
