Requirements
- Master’s degree in Theology, Divinity, Religion, Counseling, or related field Required
- 2 years of pastoral experience for on call Required
- 4 years of Clinical Pastoral Education Required
- Eccelsiastical endorsement from the appropriate denomination Required
Nice To Haves
- Ordination Preferred
- Previous hospital experience Preferred
- Certification or certification eligible by pastoral care organization Preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides spiritual and pastoral support to patients, family members, visitors, and employees and provides supportive services to the community.
- Provides spiritual care and counseling to patients, families and visitors, hospital staff and community.
- Provides appropriate assistance to patients, family members.
- Conducts worship services.
