About The Position

WIFC 95.5 FM, Central Wisconsin’s contemporary hits station, is seeking an on-air personality to host its morning show and bring music, humor, and personality to listeners. The role involves creating live, local radio and connecting with audiences through broadcast, digital content, social media, video, station events, and community appearances. The host will collaborate with the team, work with local sponsors, and help grow and strengthen the station’s brand.

Requirements

Be a natural communicator who can tell stories, entertain an audience, and make listeners feel part of the conversation.
Have a strong audio/video presence and an established presence as a social media influencer.
Have a genuine appreciation for trending music, Midwest culture, and the communities served.
Be driven to create great radio content, grow an audience, strengthen the brand, and work as part of a team.
Have a valid Wisconsin driver’s license and be able to pass a motor vehicle check and satisfactory background check.

Nice To Haves

Two or more years of on-air broadcasting experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Host WIFC’s live morning show Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, bringing energy, quick wit, preparation, and creativity.
Extend the show’s personality across social media, digital platforms, and video content.
Represent WIFC at station events, live broadcasts, and community appearances, and build relationships with listeners.
Work with local sponsors through endorsement opportunities and relationship-building.
Bring fresh ideas, collaborate with the team, and find new ways to make the brand engaging, memorable, and growing.
