About The Position

Chat Sports is seeking an entertaining and opinionated sports media personality to host the Lakers Report on YouTube and cover the NBA full-time from their Dallas, TX headquarters. The company has experienced rapid growth on YouTube, reaching over 50 million monthly viewers. The On-Air Host will be the primary face of the Lakers Report channel, responsible for breaking down games, trade rumors, free agency moves, and all related drama for one of the biggest brands in sports. This role involves creating multiple videos daily and live streaming during most Lakers games and post-game shows. The position is based in a new 11,000 sq ft downtown Dallas HQ with 16 production studios, emphasizing live energy and strong personalities.

Requirements

Live and breathe the NBA, especially the Los Angeles Lakers (rosters, history, rumors, cap space, trade assets, etc.).
On-camera experience (YouTube, podcasts, TV, or radio) and ability to confidently host without relying on a teleprompter.
Know how to connect with fans on social media and build a community around your voice.
Thrive in a fast-paced, high-output environment and be ready to work nights/weekends during the NBA season.
Be organized, dependable, and bring consistent energy every single day.

Responsibilities

Be the face and voice of Lakers Report, bringing energy, strong opinions, and a must-watch presence on camera.
Collaborate with your producer to create engaging scripts, segments, and graphics that keep fans hooked.
Film multiple videos daily (live shows, breaking news, reactions, debates, shorts) covering everything Lakers, from blockbuster trades to postgame breakdowns.
Deliver multiple videos per day that keep Lakers fans engaged, reacting, and coming back for more.
Be live on YouTube during most Lakers games/post-game.
