About The Position

Chat Sports is seeking an entertaining and opinionated sports media personality to host the Chiefs Report on YouTube and cover the NFL full-time from their Dallas, TX headquarters. Chat Sports is a rapidly growing sports media brand on YouTube, expanding from 3 shows in 2019 to 51 shows and over 50 million monthly viewers. The On-Air Host will be the primary face of the Chiefs Report show, breaking down games, free agency, draft news, and locker-room drama, producing multiple videos daily. The role also involves contributing to league and draft-related programming with the NFL team. This position is based in a new, 11,000 sq ft downtown Dallas HQ with 16 production studios. The role requires high energy, late nights, weekends, and turning football Sundays into content opportunities.

Requirements

Extensive knowledge of the NFL, including current rosters, historical information, and offseason events like free agency and the draft.
Experience hosting podcasts, YouTube shows, radio, or TV.
Comfortable improvising live without a teleprompter.
Charisma that is engaging on camera.
Legit, consistent social media skills for building buzz and engaging fans.
Ability to embrace and convincingly portray a Chiefs fan persona.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to thrive under pressure.
Willingness to work weekends and evenings, particularly during the NFL season (September-February).
High energy and a relentless work ethic.
Highly organized and reliable.
Ability to perform well in a fast-moving, no-excuses environment.

Responsibilities

Host and be the star of Chiefs Report, bringing high energy, sharp insight, and a captivating presence.
Collaborate with a producer to brainstorm scripts, graphics, and segments for engaging shows.
Film multiple videos daily, including live, on-demand, and social/shorts content such as breakdowns, reactions, bold predictions, and debates.
Cover NFL news, including free agency, draft war rooms, and player transactions.
Embrace the persona of a Chiefs fan while maintaining brutal honesty.
Work weekends and evenings, especially from September to February.
