Under the direct supervision of an OMJ supervisor, the OMJ Case Manager is responsible for assessing, referring, assigning, and case managing all OMJ programs. This includes programs such as SNAP, TANF, WIOA Adult and Dislocated Worker, CCMEP, Obligors, PRC, Employer Services, RESEA, Special Grants, and Worksite Monitoring. The role involves conducting interviews to determine eligibility and identify barriers to self-sufficiency, developing individualized plans, and collaborating with JFS staff and community partners to support individuals. Key functions include educating individuals on program policies, evaluating eligibility, assessing barriers, creating and monitoring self-sufficiency plans, and coordinating services with area businesses. The position also involves developing group-based programs, assisting individuals in transitioning off public assistance, conducting worksite evaluations, and providing outreach to businesses. Accurate case file maintenance, data collection, reporting, and timely response to inquiries are essential. The role requires maintaining knowledge of current program policies, confidentiality, and attending skill development programs. The Case Manager may also operate a motor vehicle to transport individuals.
