About The Position

This is a full-time position for a Class A CDL Rail Shuttle Driver. The driver will be responsible for making several trips a day between the OKC yards and the rail yard, dropping and hooking trailers, and ensuring cargo is properly secured. The role requires compliance with all FMCSA DOT regulations and in-house rules, including conducting daily inspections and identifying out-of-service issues on vehicles and equipment. The position also involves flatbed cargo securement, strapping, and securing loads.

Requirements

Minimum 25 years of age.
Minimum of 2 years flatbed experience or 5 years experience Class A CDL Truck Driver.
Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License.
MVR with no major moving violations or excessive points.
No DWI/DUI in last 10 years.
2+ years driving experience Required with Flatbed experience preferred.
Nationwide Criminal Background check required.
Drug Screening Required.
Ability to read, write, and speak well in English.
Physically able to Push, Pull, Kneel, Bend, Lift, Squat up to 100 lbs. or more.

Nice To Haves

Previous Class 7 Forklift Experience managing Tubular Goods with Forestry Products a plus.
Additional Pay for Documented Pettibone and/or Telehandler Experience.
Front End Loader Forklift Certification - Class 7.
Initiative-taking with a strong work ethic.
Safety Sensitive Position.

Responsibilities

Comply with all FMCSA DOT REGULATIONS and in-house rules.
Conduct daily pre trip and post trip inspections of the vehicle and report any problems or damage to management as per FMCSA Regulation Part 396.
Identify OOS issues on Trailers, Trucks, and Heavy Equipment.
Responsible for flatbed Cargo Securement, Strapping and securing the loads.
Make several trips a day back and forth between the OKC yards and the rail yard.
Dropping and hooking several trailers daily.
Securing the load after hooking up to the trailer.
