About The Position

Slomin’s Inc. is hiring dependable and motivated Oil Delivery Drivers to deliver home heating oil to residential customers throughout an assigned territory on Long Island, New York. The position is open to experienced oil delivery professionals and entry-level drivers; qualified entry-level candidates receive comprehensive training. This is a union position represented by Local 355. Compensation includes an hourly base rate plus commission, with the base rate scaling with experience.

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must successfully undergo a background check. A criminal history does not automatically disqualify an applicant.

Nice To Haves

• Six months to one year of driving experience is preferred.
• Previous oil delivery experience is a plus.
