About The Position
Clean Harbors is seeking an enthusiastic Oil Recycling Operator to join its team in Rollinsford, New Hampshire. This labor-intensive role offers the opportunity to learn different areas of the operation. Duties include loading and offloading tankers, sampling, changing pump strainers or inline filters, and supporting refinery and tank farm operations. The position requires night-shift work and every other weekend.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb, stoop, and bend.
- Ability to work night shift and every other weekend.
Nice To Haves
- One to three years of manufacturing or plant experience preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude or troubleshooting experience is a plus.
- Previous refinery operations experience is an asset.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Follow safe work practices, policies, and processes, and maintain safety as the top priority.
- Sample process streams and assist with tank farm operations.
- Gauge all process tanks every hour.
- Complete tank transfers to control inventory.
- Collect routine process samples to verify product quality.
- Switch and change process filters.
- Assist other operators.
- Complete housekeeping tasks within the refinery.
- Load and unload tanks.
