About The Position
Crystal Clean is seeking motivated individuals to support its oil collection program. Filter Drivers collect used oil filters from customer locations and transport them safely back to the branch. Complete training is provided. The role involves servicing existing customers, planning efficient routes, inspecting vehicles and equipment, maintaining required records, and representing Crystal Clean professionally. Compensation consists of a weekly base salary plus commission; actual earnings vary by performance and location.
Requirements
- Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL license with Air Brakes and Hazmat endorsements.
- Ability to work independently and keep to a tight schedule.
- Safe driving record.
- Strong customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Remove full oil filter containers at customer locations and leave empty containers.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Arrange work orders to minimize mileage and travel time.
- Inspect vehicles and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain a D.O.T. driving log.
- Complete required paperwork accurately and neatly.
- Identify potential sales opportunities and notify appropriate branch personnel.
- Follow corporate policies and standards, including environmental and regulatory, human resources, facility, equipment, operations, and maintenance requirements.
- Present a positive image of Crystal Clean to employees, external contacts, and the general public.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
