About The Position

The Oil Change Technician performs routine vehicle maintenance in a fast-paced automotive shop while learning and developing mechanical skills alongside senior technicians. The employer provides paid, step-by-step training intended to help the technician become certified and advance. The role is based at Hallmark Hendersonville in Hendersonville, Tennessee, and is full-time on the day shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Previous experience as an Automotive Express Lube Technician.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
Good communication skills.
Submit to and successfully complete an MVR check, background check, and pre-employment drug test.
Energetic, focused, reliable, and willing to learn; able to work actively with hands and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform oil changes and replace filters.
Rotate tires and top off vehicle fluids.
Conduct digital vehicle inspections, including checking belts, hoses, and batteries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service bay.
Work alongside senior technicians to learn advanced mechanical skills.
Provide customer service and communicate with the pit crew.
