About The Position

Oil Change Technicians represent the Delta Sonic Team and perform oil change services, 20-point maintenance checks, and minor light-duty automotive repairs. Select technicians may be trained to perform specialty services. They greet customers professionally and enthusiastically and educate them about available products and services. Technicians also help maintain the facility by sweeping, mopping, picking up trash, cleaning restrooms, removing snow, and performing light maintenance. The role focuses on customer satisfaction and meeting Delta Sonic’s quality standards. Technicians work in state-of-the-art automotive service shops. The pay rate is $19.50 per hour, plus eligible commission. This is a non-benefited position. Year-round schedule availability is required; seasonal employment due to attending school is no longer available effective June 1, 2024.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
Good mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot non-routine repairs.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for providing great customer service.
A detail-oriented mindset.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Willingness to work in all weather conditions, indoors and outdoors.
Ability to work with a sense of urgency.
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for long periods, with or without accommodation.
Ability to lift moderate amounts of weight, with or without accommodation.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
Year-round schedule availability is required; seasonal employment due to attending school is not available.

Nice To Haves

Previous automotive service experience is a plus.
