About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services. The role suits people who are willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude. Team members may advance through the company's Pit Tech to President growth path, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. Compensation is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses available. Same-day access to up to 50% of earned wages is available through myFlexPay.

Requirements

No experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is required.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
Inspect and top off fluids.
Perform coolant exchanges.
Restock and maintain floor inventory levels.
Maintain a clean work environment.
Provide excellent customer service.
Replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services.
