About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is looking for friendly and energetic team members to join their family. They are seeking self-motivated individuals who love working with cars. This role offers an opportunity to showcase skills and join a growing team of full-time crew members and lube techs. No experience is required as training will be provided for tasks such as changing oil, replacing wiper blades/air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance services. The company emphasizes a 'Pit Tech to President' growth path, with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions. Successful technicians often start with no prior experience, coming from diverse backgrounds like servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, and landscapers.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Must be over 18 years of age (over 16 years of age in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming)

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
