About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member to join its shop team. No previous experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services. The position offers pay up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Team members may have opportunities to advance, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians.

Requirements

• Be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under vehicles.
• Be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
