About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to prepare team members to work as lube technicians. The role involves changing oil and filters, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance services. Team members are expected to work hard, learn, and bring a positive attitude while providing excellent customer service. Opportunities to advance are available, and more than 90% of Shop Managers started as lube technicians.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to safely position beneath vehicles.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years old, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
