About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a full-time Oil Change Team Member to join its crew. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire air filling, and other light vehicle maintenance. The role offers pay up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses. Team members can advance within the company, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. Flexible schedules are available. The position involves vehicle maintenance, inventory restocking, maintaining a clean work area, and delivering customer service.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; must be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
