About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members can learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires with air, and perform other light maintenance services. The company describes opportunities to advance through its Pit Tech to President growth path, with many shop managers and field leaders promoted internally.

Requirements

• Be over 18 years of age, except in the listed states where applicants may be over 16: Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
