About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to prepare team members to work as lube technicians performing oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, adding air to tires, and other light maintenance services. The role offers pay up to $15 per hour through base pay and commissions. Team members may have opportunities to advance, with paid training supporting career growth. The position requires physical work in and around vehicles and a willingness to work in hot or cold weather when necessary.

Requirements

• No prior experience required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
