About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic team members to join their family. They offer a Pit Tech to President growth path, with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions. This is an opportunity for full-time crew members and lube techs. No experience is required as training will be provided for tasks such as changing oil, replacing wiper blades/air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance services. The role requires a willingness to learn, work hard, and maintain a positive attitude. Successful technicians have come from various backgrounds including servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other skilled trades. The company emphasizes rapid advancement, with over 90% of Shop Managers starting as lube techs. Paid training is provided to help team members advance and become leaders earning salaries and bonuses.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil
• Change oil filter
• Wash windshield
• Adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
