About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is looking for friendly and energetic team members to join their family. They are seeking full-time crew members and lube techs who are people-oriented, self-motivated, and have a love for working with cars. No experience is required as training will be provided for oil changes, wiper blade/air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. The company emphasizes a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and hard work. There is a clear growth path with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions, starting from Pit Tech to President. Successful lube technicians can earn up to $15/hr with base pay and commissions, and many have transitioned from various backgrounds like servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other skilled trades.

Requirements

Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
Willingness to learn
Work hard
Bring a positive attitude to the shop
