Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Oil and/or Propane Service Technician
- Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing oil burners, boilers, and heating systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while effectively communicating with customers, dispatchers, and team members
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Strong attention to safety, quality, and efficiency
- Valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- HVAC service experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair oil boilers, burners, and heating systems
- Perform preventative maintenance, tune-ups, and system cleanings
- Service and maintain pumps, hoses, nozzles, and related oil heating equipment
- Service and maintain heating oil tanks, including interior and exterior systems
- Respond to service calls and identify and resolve safety concerns
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and service departments throughout the workday
- Maintain accurate and complete records of service and repairs performed
- Deliver courteous, knowledgeable, and professional service to customers
- Follow company safety procedures and uphold high standards for quality and efficiency
- Manage the physical demands of the position, including lifting up to 50 lbs
