About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Oil Burner Mechanic Whitehorse to join our team in Whitehorse, YT. This role may require travel throughout the Yukon, Northwest Territories, and Northern BC. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring that heating systems function at their best. You will also help us stay organized by managing permits, completing inspection reports and service records, assisting with inventory and stock control, and taking on additional tasks as needed. Requirements

Oil Burner Mechanic license or Red Seal certification
Certified to work in the Yukon
Experience working on residential, commercial, or industrial oil burners
Own tools, and keep them in great condition
Dependable and a self-starter
Ability to work hard to build and maintain successful relationships
History of working safely and ensuring equipment is in the best working order possible

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair oil-burner related equipment and oil tanks.
Install control systems for heating systems.
Diagnose issues and identify repairs needed.
Perform maintenance and repair duties on oil/gas burning heating equipment including parts replacement.
Layout and assemble oil burner heating systems components.
Clean and overhaul oil burner and related equipment, and test to ensure all components function properly.
Manage permits, complete inspection reports and service records.
Assist with inventory and stock control.
Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
