This is a very physically demanding job working outdoors which can be very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter. The role involves traveling to customer sites both on and offshore to discuss operational problems with equipment, perform Job Safety Analyses, assess equipment conditions, and make appropriate repairs. The technician will be responsible for communication between the company and clients, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all communications and reporting, and maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with company, client, OSHA, and other applicable standards. Responsibilities also include performing Behavioral Safety Observations, ensuring the work area is clean and well-maintained, and assisting in training new employees. The role requires the ability to convey knowledge gained from training sessions, work on-call and off-shift as needed, and troubleshoot and repair control and automated valve assemblies using basic tools. Independent work in a fast-paced environment, overtime including some weekends, and adherence to company policies are expected. Travel is required up to 15% of the time. Other duties may be assigned.
